Oh, hello.

I’m Emma Irene. This is my space to share my enthusiasm, hyperfocus, and criticism about a lot of things: music, art, culture, interconnectedness, community, queerness, and self-love.

Once, on a job application, I was asked to write my autobiography in 6 words or less, and I wrote: “She spoke, loudly. Her arms danced”.

If you like / are curious about / ironically engage with any of the below / earnestly engage with any of the below, I have great news: I do, too! Also

If you don’t know me personally, hi, hello! Welcome and thanks for stopping by. Here’s some more about me, maybe helpful context, maybe not!

I am in the midst of a creative renaissance after spending a lot of time identifying as a ~*business lady*~ and working very hard to love myself and embrace myself as an artist. Recently I wrote, composed, and performed a one-woman musical about my astrological birth chart called THE FAULTS IN MY STARS. It premiered at the 2023 Hollywood Fringe festival and I’m continuing to workshop it, developing it in other formats. I perform as an actor, improviser, comedian, clown, and musician in Los Angeles.

This a space to practice my writing and hopefully connect with others. This is an exercise in creating, without expectations of praise or judgment. To put my enthusiasm, criticism, and hyperfocus to use in a way that feels good to me.
